AI Content & Disclosure
Effective 13 June 2026 · Connact Inc.
Seges is agent-native: we use AI to research, analyse and draft at scale. This statement explains how we do that responsibly and how to tell what is AI-generated — in line with the EU AI Act's transparency duties and the AI-content rules emerging across our markets.
- AI-generated content is clearly labelled “AI-generated”.
- Every published intelligence item carries its sources, a confidence score and a freshness indicator.
- A named human editor holds editorial responsibility, and any claim about an identifiable person or company is human-reviewed before it is published.
- We do not present AI output as investment advice.
We label AI-generated content
Where content is generated or substantially produced by AI, we show a clear “AI-generated” label. Any AI-generated image, audio or video we publish also carries machine-readable provenance metadata and a visible marker, so people and platforms can tell it apart from human-made media.
Provenance and confidence on every item
Our intelligence products attach, to each item, the named sources with links and a retrieval timestamp, a calibrated confidence score, and a freshness indicator. We would rather show our working than ask you to trust an unexplained answer. This is the heart of how we work: provenance, not opinion.
A human is responsible
AI assists; people are accountable. A named human editor of record holds editorial responsibility for what we publish, and any item naming an identifiable living person or company passes human review and verification before it goes out. AI does not publish on its own.
Accuracy and correction
AI can be wrong. Our content may contain errors and should be verified before you act on it. If we get something wrong, tell us through seges.ai/contact and we will correct it promptly and visibly.
Information, not advice
Our AI-assisted outputs are information and analysis, not investment, financial or professional advice tailored to you. See our Disclaimer.
How we use your data with AI
We train and improve our AI models on irreversibly de-identified data, and on personal data only where you have given us specific consent for that purpose. We never train on special-category data. You can withdraw AI-training consent at any time — see our Privacy Policy.
European Union / EEA
We rely on the EU AI Act's transparency framework, including the editorial-control basis for AI-assisted text under public editorial responsibility, and we mark AI-generated media in a machine-readable way (Article 50).
China & Vietnam
Where these rules apply to a localised service, AI-generated content carries both a visible label and embedded provenance metadata, consistent with China's labelling standard and Vietnam's AI Law.
United States (California)
Where applicable, AI-generated audiovisual content carries the required disclosure/watermark, and we disclose training-data information where a substantial-modification duty applies.
Taiwan & wider region
We label AI-generated and AI-assisted news and analysis and show its sources and confidence, consistent with regulator guidance and high local media-literacy expectations.
